The only reasons I would refuse to use your existing mount would be if it was damaged, didn't support the weight of your new TV, didn't support the TVs VESA pattern, had miss matched parts, e.g. TV arms that don't match the wall bracket, so that the TV can't be secured, or didn't work with the mounting surface, not meeting my satisfaction for safety. If I didn't mount the bracket, I'd inspect the current mounting and correct the installation as needed. As far as static vs full motion, I don't always agree with clients decisions to use full motion mounts, but if there are no safety issues I'm not going to decline the installation. Edit: Buy the TV online with installation if the store is giving you trouble.
